Schedule a Teams meeting from Outlook

How do I schedule a Teams meeting in Outlook?

Environment

  • Outlook 2016
  • Teams

Resolution

  • Open the Calendar in Outlook

  • Select New Teams Meeting from the menu ribbon

  • Fill out the meeting invite
    • If a location is needed; select rooms from the right to pick a room.

 Note: To access the meeting you will use the link in the body of the meeting invite. 

  • Click Send
